Bryan ISD, covering 453 sq. miles, serves approx. 15,800 students from the city of Bryan and the towns of Kurten and Wixon Valley, as well as rural areas in northern Brazos County, and a small portion of Robertson County. Bryan ISD buses travel more than 5000 miles daily and 1.5 million miles annually.
Campuses include : 16 elementary schools (grades PK-5); four middle schools (grades 8-8); and three high schools (grades 9-12).
Bryan is the county seat of Brazos County in Southeast Central Texas. It shares its border with the city of College Station, which lies to its south. Together they are referred to as the Bryan-College Station metropolitan area, the 16th largest Metropolitan area in Texas containing around 190,000 people.
The community offers one of the top 30 attractions in the state of Texas – The George Bush Presidential Library and Museum, as well as many other outstanding museums, galleries, entertainment, recreation, shopping, and dining options.
